- 100% Cotton Watercolor Paper (Bee and Fabriano Artistico)
- Various round watercolor brushes. 3 sizes is fine (example: #12, #8 and #4). Steve also used a #2 rigger or liner in places
- Watercolour paints of your choice. Here are Steve’s preference for the subject: Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green, Olive Green, Azo Green, Nickel Azo Yellow, Paynes Gray, Neutral Tint
- Additional colours: Dioxizine Purple, Red Iron Oxide, Sepia
